Connecting with new people in person is the core of our community, but your safety and comfort always come first. While the Meet3 Challenge facilitates connections, you are ultimately in control of your offline interactions.

Please read and follow our Safety Guidelines for all in-person meetups.

Verify Event Details: Review the details provided in your meeting confirmation and note your organizer's email address. If any aspect of the setup feels off, inconsistent, or suspicious, trust your instincts.

Plan Your Own Transportation: Always control your own arrival and departure. Do not accept rides from people you are meeting for the first time, and ensure you have a reliable way to get home independently.

Choose Public, High-Traffic Venues: We suggest hosting meetups in well-populated public places during regular operating hours instead of a private residence or secluded location.

Share Your Location: Before heading out, let someone know who you are meeting, where you are going, and when you expect to return. Consider sharing your live location via your phone.

Stay in Control: Keep your personal belongings (wallet, phone, keys) with you at all times. Do not leave food or drinks unattended.

Set Clear Boundaries: Professional and peer networking should remain respectful. You are under no obligation to stay if you feel uncomfortable, pressured, or unsafe. You can leave a meetup at any time without explanation. If you face immediate physical danger or harm, call local emergency services right away.
